Chandra Dawn Gould

Chandra Dawn Gould, 53, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at home in Watervliet.

Chandra is survived by her mother; her sister, Shannon Renbarger (Cable); brothers, Randy and Bill Cable; her children, Ashlee Jones, Jake Jones, and Shelby Heighton; her niece and nephew, Nicholette Salmon and Landon Cable; and granddaughters, Aleeah, Nevaeh, Alyvia, Natalie, and Aubrey.

Chandra was born on Saturday, June 3, 1967 to Kenneth and Susie Cable. She was a 1985 graduate of Berrien Springs High School.

Family was very important to Chandra; one of her favorite things to do was to gush about how much she loved her children and grandchildren. She had a very generous heart, an amazing sense of humor, and a tremendous love for animals and spending time outdoors gardening, tending to the pool for the grandbabies, and taking her beloved pitbull “Roxy” on walks through parks in town.

A memorial service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Watervliet on Tuesday, August 4, at 3 p.m. Food and drink will be provided directly across the street following the memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Chandra's name be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
