Bradley S. Bateman, 60, of Berrien Springs died Thursday morning, Feb. 22, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Buchanan Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he was a member. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the church from 2-4 p.m. and to leave online messages at www.allredfuneralhome.com. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs. Memorial donations to Voice of Prophecy, Signs of the Times, Your Story Hour, or Rock Steady Parkinson’s Exercise Support Group in South Bend, Indiana.
Brad was born Feb. 26, 1957, in Peoria, Ill. He worked as an electronics engineer installing security systems, serving as Vice President and Manager of Thompson Electronics. He was an avid ham radio operator—AJ9I. He belonged to the Peoria camera club and had done photography for the Peoria Observer newspaper.
Survivors include his wife, the former Gyl E. Moon; three sons: Bradley J., Douglas, and Mark; his parents, R. James and Gwendolyn Bateman; brother, Brian Bateman; two sisters: Sue Malahy and Cynthia Quiram; three half-sisters: Leah and Robyn Walton and Dirce Everett; and two granddogs.
