Bruce W. Malcuit

Bruce W. Malcuit , 92, of Galien, Michigan, died early Friday, April 29, 2016, at home.

Bruce was born July 27, 1923, in Akron, Ohio.  He was adopted by Frank and Luanna Malcuit and raised in a Christian home.  He interrupted his university studies and enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps.  The Lord led him into the position of chaplain's assistant.  His exposure to the Pacific theater led him to answer a call to mission work in Papua, New Guinea, after graduation from Ohio State University with a degree in agriculture and science.  He spent 11 years in mission service and later immigrated to Australia.  Dad/Bruce, we're proud of all that you've accomplished in your life time. 

Bruce is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ganell; and five children: Mary Ellen Chee, Richard Malcuit, Kathy Malcuit, Nancy Pascoe of Australia, and Martha Detweiler of Galien; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
