Calvin Eugene Hardin Jr.

Calvin E. Hardin Jr., 55, of Berrien Springs, Michigan passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Calvin grew up in Berrien Springs, a town he loved and never left. He worked hard as an auto mechanic his whole life. He had a passion for auto mechanics from a very early age, which led to his great love of classic cars. His most loved was his Nova and his El Camino. Calvin had a lot of things he loved doing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but there was nothing he loved more than a great time with his family and friends. Calvin was well known in his hometown and anyone who met him loved him. Calvin will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Calvin was welcomed by the loving arms of our Lord; his mother, Darlene; his father, Calvin Sr.; his brother, John; and multiple family and friends.

Calvin is survived by his beloved Annette; his three beautiful daughters: Krisy, Jennifer, Miranda; and his handsome son, Calvin; two brothers, Don and Chris; and a sister, Tricia. He has many nephews and nieces who love him dearly and who he loved just as dearly. Calvin has 10 grandchildren who he cherished.

Family has requested a celebration of life be held at the Berrien Springs American Legion to honor him, as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Calvin’s family and friends join us in celebrating Calvin’s life at the American Legion on Sunday, August 20, at 4 p.m.
