Christina H. Athans, entered into eternal rest on October 18, 2024, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Born on January 31, 1942, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Christina was the cherished daughter of the late William and Josephine (Barnal) Athans, whose love and values shone brightly throughout her life.

Christina's early years in Springfield laid a foundation of resilience and compassion, traits that would become hallmarks of her character. After graduating from high school, she embarked on a career that would span decades at Whirlpool. As a trainer, Christina was not only instrumental in educating her colleagues but also in fostering an environment of mutual respect and learning. Her dedication to Whirlpool was so profound that, even after retirement, she returned to lend her expertise to the legal department, where her wisdom and experience were invaluable.
