Christopher “Chris” Bikichky, 44, of Berrien Springs, passed away Sept. 8, 2020 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville after an extended illness.
Chris was born April 14, 1976 at Berrien General Hospital in Berrien Center. He married Elizabeth “Beth” (Kohles) Bikichky and they have a 14-year-old son, Jordan. Chris was a member of the Air Force Auxiliary, Pathfinders, American Legion and Stevensville SDA Church.
He was trained as a paramedic but worked as an EMT and volunteered with Coloma Ambulance and worked for South Haven Hospital ER, Lakeland Hospital St. Joseph ER and surgery and Pride Care Ambulance.
He is survived by his wife and son; his mother, Victoria Bathgate; his father and step-mother, Nick and Jackie Bikichky; brother, Andrew (Caroline) Bikichky; step-brother, Corey (Deborah) Busch; sisters-in-law, Joyce (Scott) Tschetter and Diana Casey; his in-laws, Harry and Rachel Kohles; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Paula) Kohles and Brian (Monica) Kohles; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-brother, Eric Busch.
Chris enjoyed surprising people with gifts and making people happy, spending time with family and friends and watching the antics of our cats and sugar gliders.
A memorial service is planned to be announced at a later date. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Caring Circle and/or Hanson Hospice Center.

UPDATE: Memorial Service at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 10, at Stevensville Seventh-day Adventist Church, 6657 Stevensville-Baroda Road, Stevensville, Michigan. Visitation will be at 3 p.m. until servicetime.
