Corinne Belle Councell

Corinne Belle Councell, 94, of Berrien Springs and formerly of Niles, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Jenny’s Place in Berrien Springs.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10 a.m. at Allred Funeral Home before proceeding to the cemetery. Corinne was born December 25, 1923, in Washington Township, Ohio, the daughter of Dayton R. and Rosa Marie (Moon) Harmon. She married Eldon K. Councell in Neptune, Ohio, on April 25, 1941, and she was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her family. She was a member of the Niles Westside Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Gary (Joyce) and Bryon (Sisa); her daughter, Linda (Bruce) Bauer; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon; brother, Larry Harmon; and sister, Norma Lee Danforth.
