Dale Louis Sherburn, 78, formerly of Berrien Springs, passed away peacefully at home in Goshen, Indiana, on April 24, 2022, with his loving wife at his side.
Visitation will be 6–8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Allred Funeral Home, Berrien Springs; and 9:30–10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 437 E. Dragoon Trail, Mishawaka. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial with Military Rites will follow at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs.

Dale was born June 13, 1943, in Benton Harbor to Loris and Helen (Rudowske) Sherburn. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps for three years as a marksman and sharpshooter, and he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years. He enjoyed dancing, reading and studying his Bible, playing Scrabble, and he loved being outdoors in nature. Dale enjoyed his family.
Survivors include his wife, Kristie; son, David (Juliet) Sherburn of Coloma; daughters: Lisa (John) O’Brien of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Jill (Jeremy) Lucas of Garden City, Mich., Gina (Christopher) Voge of Milwaukee, Wisc.; seven grandchildren; brother, Leon (Sandy) Sherburn; sisters: Ruth (Rich) Aviles, Donna (Mike) Manckia, Arlene Watson, Barbara (Ron) Emhoff, and Janet Sherburn.
He was preceded by his parents; and brother, Glen Sherburn.
