Danny R. Aldridge, Sr.

Danny R. Aldridge Sr., 61, of Stevensville, died Wednesday evening, November 2, 2016, at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 7, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs.  Pastor Starley Baker will officiate, and military rites will be conducted by the North Berrien Military Rites Team, Coloma American Legion Post 362.  Online messages for the family may be left at www.allredfuneralhome.com.

Danny was born June 18, 1955, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the son of Leonard and Virginia (Miller) Aldridge.  His military career with the U.S. Army began in 1973, and he retired from duty on June 30, 1995, having achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.

He is survived by two sons: Danny Jr. of Augusta, South Carolina, and Michael of Alexandria, Virginia; two daughters: Christina (Ralph) Dennis of Weedsport, New York, and Kelly (Dallas) Taylor of Crooksville, Ohio; five grandchildren: Kaleb Taylor, Donovan Dennis, Matthew Taylor, Athena Aldridge, and Riley Aldridge; brother, Jerry (Judy) Aldridge of Stevensville; and sister, Delorise Horton of Benton Harbor.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, LaGenea; and three brothers: Dean, Ronnie, and Eddie.
