Deborah “Debbie” Taylor, 62, of Berrien Springs, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs. Pastor Derek Cromwell of the First Baptist Church, Berrien Springs, will officiate. Friends are invited to visit from 1-2 p.m. and to share a memory online at www.allredfuneralhome.com. She was an avid animal lover and donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan.
She was born February 14, 1956 in St. Joseph, the daughter of Sam and Mabel (Klutts) Turney. In addition to caring for her family, Debbie worked with her husband and managed T&T Auto Repair for 38 years, and she also drove bus for Berrien County RESA. She had been active in the St. Joseph Power Squadron and Tryon 4-H.
Debbie is survived by her faithful loving husband of 46 years, Tom Taylor; two daughters, Jody and Jennifer Taylor; five grandchildren: Rebecca Andriukaitis, Dominic Manley, Lee Ann Aiken, Thomas and Jesse Taylor; two sisters, Janette Turney-Foster and Karen Turney-Najacht; and three brothers: Dave (Rose) Turney, Tom (Sandra) Turney, and Kenny Turney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jim and Denny Turney.
