Elizabeth Jane Fleenor

Elizabeth “Becky” (Norman) Fleenor a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on March 16, 2025, in Berrien Springs, Michigan, at the age of 84. Born on August 10, 1940, in Jacksonville, Illinois, Becky’s life was a testament to her loving nature and faith-filled spirit.

Becky's journey through life was marked by her dedication to her family and her unwavering faith. She is lovingly remembered by her three children, Lori Bahlmann, Richard (Julie) Bahlmann, and Charles Fleenor; her adored grandchildren, Brooke (Ian Molitor) Fleenor and Charlie (Katie Scheuer) Fleenor; and her siblings, David (Debbie) Hilliard and Bonnie (Darrel) Berry. Elizabeth's legacy of love continues through them. She was preceded in death by her beloved previous husband, Arthur Fleenor Jr.; her infant son, Lyman Alan Bahlmann; and seven siblings: Ken Norman, Barbara Banes, Richard Norman, Doris Capicotte, Anna Norman, Donald Hilliard Jr., and Daniel Hilliard.

Throughout her life, Becky worked diligently as a housekeeper for many families and businesses, including the Cook Nuclear Plant. Her strong work ethic was matched only by her love and commitment to her community and her Village Seventh-day Adventist Church family in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

Becky’s grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense joy in watching them participate in sports and other activities. Creating Sabbath school crafts, playing games and talking with her family and friends were her favorite activities.

Those who knew Becky will forever remember her as a beacon of love and kindness. Her faith-filled life was an inspiration, and her thoughtful gestures and warm embrace will be deeply missed. Elizabeth “Becky” (Norman) Fleenor's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berrien Springs.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs, Michigan. A family directed celebration of life will be held at the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berrien Springs on Thursday March 20 at 2:30PM. A meal will follow the service at the church.
