Evelyn Joyce Boozer, 90, of Berrien Center, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at home.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs, as per her wishes. Messages and memories may be shared online at www.allredfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caring Circle Hospice and to the Village SDA Church School (VAES).
She was born Sept. 28, 1932 in Escanaba, Mich., to Bernard and Mary “Hazel” (Bogar) Hamilton. She attended Cedar Lake Academy, and on Sept. 23, 1950, she married Ray Boozer.
Evelyn was a mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, traveling, helping others, and being with her family. She worked in food service, and she enjoyed hostessing the most as she loved meeting people. She always lit up the room when she entered.
She was a member of the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berrien Springs.
She is survived by her son, Ken; daughter-in-law, Kim; grandson, Kory (Sarah); and great-granddaughter, Onika. Also her nieces: Sue (Dave) Smith, Roxanne (Steve) Gilbert, Rozanne (Tom) Hamilton Scherr; nephew, Scott (Jeanine) Hamilton; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Verna Hamilton; and nephew, Dale Hamilton.

Evelyn will be missed by all.
