Georgia C. Harner, 93, of Berrien Springs, died Friday, April 15, 2016, at West Woods of Niles.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs, with Pastor Douglas Adams of Trinity Lutheran Church, Berrien Springs, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home. Georgia was born May 28, 1922, in Berrien Springs, the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Ingleright) Spaulding. In addition to caring for her family, she had worked as manager of Krause Pharmacy’s gift shop and soda fountain. She enjoyed woodcarving with her husband, Frank; needlepoint with her sister, Laura; and most recently painting ceramics with her granddaughter, Kim, and nephew, Lawrence. Georgia was known for her beautiful smile and generous personality.

She is survived by a son, Jon (Sharon) Harner; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Shirley Harner; brother, Merle Spaulding; and four sisters: Laura (Lyle) Sunday, Lois (Lester) Briney, Fern (Walter) Williams, and infant Cecil.
