Howard Drew, 87, of Berrien Springs, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Jenny’s Place in Berrien Springs.
Howard was born March 3, 1931, in Bloomville, Wisconsin, to Ralph and Hattie (Wetzel) Drew. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Andrews University and a Master’s degree from Michigan State University, and he taught vocational agriculture at Galien High School for 23 years. He enjoyed camping with friends and had adventure tours to 27 countries and also all U.S. states.
He was a faithful and loving husband to his wife of 63 years, Lorraine (Schenk) Drew, who survives, along with their daughter, Karen (David) Pierson; son, Kevin (Arlyn) Drew; daughter-in-law, Sigrid Drew; and he was adored by all of his 10 grandchildren.
Howard was preceded in death by his son, Gary; three sisters; two brothers; and his parents.
Memorial services will be on Sunday, July 1, at Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University, where he was a church member.
