August 27, 1969 — April 25, 2024

Jeremy Brian Long, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024, in Niles, Michigan. Born on August 27, 1969, in Elkhart, Indiana, Jeremy's life was one filled with laughter, music, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. He is remembered for his loving nature and his unique ability to bring humor into the lives of those he touched.

Jeremy is survived by his devoted mother, Karen Inbody, who fostered his kindhearted spirit. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Harley Inbody and Zachary Inbody (Brandy), who shared in his many adventures and will carry forward his legacy of joy. Jeremy also leaves behind a loving stepmother, Mary Ann Long (Thomas), and his caring sisters, Monica (Courtney) Evans and Jess (Christopher) Kauffman, who will forever cherish the memories they created together.

His life was enriched by the laughter and joy of his many nieces and nephews, including 11 on the Inbody side, along with 2 great nephews and 1 great niece, as well as 5 nephews and 1 niece on the Long side of the family. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and growth.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his fathers, Father-Thomas Long and Step-Father James Inbody, and his brother James Eli Inbody. Their guidance and love shaped Jeremy into the remarkable man he became, and their legacy will continue through the lives he influenced.

Professionally, Jeremy was a valued team member at Shrock Manufacturing, where his work ethic and camaraderie were appreciated by all who worked alongside him. His dedication to his work was evident, and his absence will be felt within the company and the broader community.

Outside of work, Jeremy's passion for music and live concerts was unparalleled. Known as "The Bear Superfan," he was a frequent texter to 103.9 The Bear, where he found a second family amongst fellow music enthusiasts. He was very proud of his time with the station and the many radio DJ’s he looked up to as if they were his heroes.  His enthusiasm and support for the station and its community made him a beloved figure, and his presence will be sorely missed by his Bear Family.  I’m sure he would have a tear in his eye to see the outpouring words from all of you.  Thank you for your kindness Bear Family.

Jeremy's life was a testament to the power of love and laughter. He approached every day with a sense of humor that was both infectious and comforting. His ability to light up a room with his wit and charm made him a joy to be around, and his love for others was felt by everyone he met.
