John Russell Perry

John Russell Perry, 46, of Berrien Springs, MI passed away after a long battle with various health issues on January 14th, 2024.

John was born to Carol Huff & John Perry in South Bend, IN. He is preceded in death by both parents & his wife Amy Perry.

Surviving are his 8 children; Rio (Connor) Milliken, Dakota (Haley) Perry, Cody McReynolds, Kyle (Paiseley Bolinger) Perry, Cory (Grace Kreczmer) Perry, Elijah Horn, Katie (Ty Neal) Perry, & Sawyer Perry along with 8 grandchildren, several cousins including DJ (Patty Leonard) Bruegal & his aunt Donna (Ron) Ziegert.

John loved rooting for the Detroit Lions, Notre Dame football, outdoor activities such as riding 4-wheelers & dirt bikes with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, music, & doing house projects. In his younger years, John worked at Sergio Pools, where he would find his passion in concrete work and building custom pools. In the winter months, he spent his time plowing, eventually having a business of his own in both trades. He was a great cook and could make anyone around him smile. He will be dearly missed by many.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions in John’s honor and memory can do so to the family to help take care of family expenses and the care of John’s youngest daughter Sawyer Perry.

A celebration of life will be held at Hope Community Church in Niles, MI on Saturday January 20 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service for family and friends.
