Jonathan Fesler, first of his name, King of the Chicken Haulers, decorated veteran and protector of the right to party has passed away after a long battle with Chronic Lymphoma Leukemia. If he were here, I’m sure he would say “Well isn’t this a fine pickle I’ve gotten myself into”.
Jon passed peacefully on Monday morning, April 15, 2019 surrounded by his friends and family. Jonathan lived a great life and will be missed by all who knew him. Jonathan loved sports, music and exercise.
He is survived by his daughter, Jonney-Miranda Barger; three grandchildren: Adrien Barger, Riley Barger and Olivia Merkling; his nieces: Miranda Rice and Kimberly Ellis; a nephew, Terrell Fesler; as well as countless others. Slumber well in Valhalla, Jonathan, you have already conquered this world.
Services will be held at 11:11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs, with a dinner to follow at the American Legion Post in Buchanan. Online messages and memories may be shared at www.allredfuneralhome.com.
