Kenneth Andrew Lehocky, 82, of Berrien Springs passed away at his home January 2, 2018, after a lengthy illness.
Ken was born June 15, 1935, in Chicago, the son of Angeline and Andrew Lehocky. He previously resided in Carpentersville, Illinois, and Algonquin, Illinois. He moved with his family to Berrien Springs in 1975 to work at Western Electric Co. in Niles. He retired from Western Electric (AT&T) after 35 years of service.
Kenneth served in the Korean War and was post commander of VFW Post 2298 in Dundee, Illinois, and a member of the American Legion Stover-Wagner Post 85 in Berrien Springs.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine A. Lehocky; his brother, Ronald Lehocky of Loveland, Colorado; his six children: Kenneth, Andrew, Joseph, Christine, James and Victoria; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew in 1987 and Angeline in 2012.
Kenneth was cremated January 5, 2018, and was laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs.
