Born on April 19, 1960, in Saint Joseph, Michigan, Kris was a man whose life was defined by his unwavering love for his family, his passion for golfing and his infectious sense of humor.

Kris was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Davis and Ida (Gallert) Davis, and his three brothers, Jim, Kent, and Jay Davis. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Mikki Davis, and his six beloved children: Ashley (Robert Graack) Appleford, Hunter (Kendra) Davis, Jake (Jasmine) Davis, Eva Davis, Eny Davis, and Katelyn Curl. Kris's joy was multiplied with the birth of his three grandchildren, Journi Graack, Myles Graack, and Theo Davis, who will carry his spirit and legacy forward.

Kris's strong work ethic and skilled hands led him to a successful career. He owned and operated K&M Remodeling, where he was renowned for his craftsmanship as a carpenter, specializing in tile and home remodeling projects. Kris's attention to detail and dedication to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of his clients and peers alike.

Kris's heart found its match when he met and married Mikki 27 years ago; together they built a life filled with joy, adventure, and an abundance of love. Kris was a family man through and through, always putting his loved ones first and ensuring that their home was a place of warmth and happiness.

Kris relished the times he spent camping with his family, creating memories that would last a lifetime. His loyalty as a fan was unwavering, whether he was cheering for the Cubs or the Bears. Kris's love for life extended to his many hobbies, which included golfing, bowling, and shooting pool. Kris was ALWAYS known to groove to the tunes, he loved music. He was a true sports enthusiast, and his competitive yet laid-back nature made every game enjoyable for those around him.

Kris's sense of humor was one of his most defining traits. He was known for his quick wit and ability to make anyone laugh. His intelligence and humor were a perfect blend, making him not only a joy to be around but also a source of wisdom and perspective. "Don't sweat the small stuff," he would often say, reminding everyone to focus on what truly matters in life.
