Margareth Saraun was born July 12, 1952 in Jakarta, Indonesia. She was one of 10 children, herself being the fifth child. After spending her childhood to young adult years there, and after marrying Max Saraun, her family eventually moved to the USA.
For her children, Margareth is remembered as being a strong personality, yet at the same time with a big sense of humor. There are many memories of funny times with mother. Her children were very precious to her. She was also very careful in not picking any favorites among her children, so she was there for all her children to love, protect and guide them.
In looking back, her children are very thankful for how much their mother sacrificed for them. They experienced that tender and motherly guidance throughout their lives. The memories of Margareth will always remain precious in the hearts of her children.
Losing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words. More than that, losing a mother who sacrificed happiness in her own life that her children could have the opportunity for a better life is impossible to grasp. A mother’s love cannot be replaced.
More important than anything else was Margareth’s love for the Bible and for Jesus, and her trust in the heavenly Father’s care. As she battled cancer in the final stages of her life, she firmly believed that even though life may pass away, Jesus Christ promised that a day of resurrection will come for all who believe in Him. Until that day, our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Margareth is resting peacefully in the grave. May Jesus Christ come again soon to raise her up to eternal life!
