Marianne Macklin of Berrien Springs, died at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, one day before her 84th birthday.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 16, at Allred Funeral Home, Berrien Springs, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Pastor Ron Kelly of the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church, where Marianne was a member, will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Marianne was born March 14, 1934 in Chicago, the daughter of Paul and Anne Pantaleo Sr. She had been co-owner of Eau Claire Packing Company, and she later worked for Dr. Kevin Drew in his Mishawaka office.
Survivors include her long-time special friend, Phillip Muenchow; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marianne was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Macklin, on February 3, 1992; her brother, Paul Pantaleo Jr.; and her parents.
