Perry D. Clark, 87, of Berrien Springs, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Berrien Springs, where friends may visit from noon until service time. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Perry was born June 26, 1930, in International Falls, Minn., to Perry and Emma (Stark) Clark. He married Donna Neitzel on March 19, 1949, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in International Falls, and they just celebrated 69 years together. He worked as a mechanic for Miller Earthmoving in Benton Harbor and was a member of Operators and Engineers Local 324. His leisure enjoyments included camping, fishing, and working in his shop.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; children: Larry (Chana) Clark, Linda (Roger) Preston, Debbie Johnson, Lorayne Clark, Jeff (Jeanne) Clark, and Valerie Clark; 19 grandchildren: Heidi, Heather, Perry, Shelli, Melinda, Meagan, Nathan, Nicholas, Brandon, Alex, Aarin, Amber, Karah, Lyndsey, Kelsey, Garrett, Everrett, Allison, and Alexis; 17 great-grandchildren: Laney, Oliver, Amanda, Kayla, Austin, Landon, Jack, Geni, Zeke, Tate, Jonah, Viviana, Noah, Jacob, Riley, Bradee, and Mason; two great-great-grandchildren: Kay’lianna and Daven; and a sister, Sylvia.
Perry was preceded by his parents; two children: Carol Ann Schlitt and Dan Clark; and siblings: Louise, Goldie, Bertha, Caroline, Floyd, Arlene, Irvin, Florence, and Emily.
