Rae Ann Adams, 72, former area resident, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, in Roanoke, Va.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Grace Church, 52025 Gumwood Road, Granger, Ind., where friends may visit beginning at 2:30 p.m. and also following the service. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs. Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans Fund. Rae Ann was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Rushford, N.Y., the daughter of Arthur and Shirley (Taylor) Adams. She retired as Director of Information Technology for Ameriwood Industries, Dowagiac. She was a member of Daughters of the Nile; and she loved sports, particularly Notre Dame football, Cubs baseball, and NASCAR.
Surviving are her son, Terrence (Heather) Adams of Roanoke; grandchildren: Kyle Adams, Jordan Adams, Zakary Rial, Jake Rial, Rebekah Adams, Abigail Adams, Xander Adams; sister, Donna (Dan) Thompson, and brother, Barry (Tami) Adams, both of Stevensville.
Rae Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Jaime Rial.
